“Perfection comes from repetition“ – Shaolin Master Shi Heng Yi.
A few weeks ago, I finished my second experience at the Shaolin Europe Temple. I participated in the Monastery on Time program; there, I was again guided by Shaolin Master Shi Heng Yi, with whom I can say that I have developed a good friendship. In a way, we have been in contact since August of last year; when I confirmed my attendance, I proposed recording a new interview in English, where I could translate the questions into Spanish and summarise the answer. Shifu said yes, and that is what we did on the last day of the program, recording the interview on audio and video (and here on the YouTube channel)
“Ultimately we are all human, and there are certain mechanisms that are the same for everyone, so searches are what makes us the same and the results are what make us different“ – Shaolin Master Shi Heng Yi.
A true master of Self-Mastery
“The first thing is to find the fastest possible way to enjoy the life you have and to extend the number of days that you have this feeling“ – Shi Heng Yi.
Master Shi Heng Yi belongs to the 35th generation of Shaolin masters. He is the headmaster of Shaolin Temple Europe in Germany. His focus is on providing training methods to develop unity of body and mind, combining internal and external power and structure (discipline).
“It is not very useful or wise, to tell the truth at the wrong times. If someone is hungry, they do not want principles, they only want the bread to eat“
This is the second interview we conducted; it could be said that it is a continuation of the first one we did last August when I attended the Shaolin Bootcamp for the first time.
“I’m not under pressure, I don’t put myself under pressure, so I can look inside myself and I can see if I have the answer“ – Shi Heng Yi.
